Kanan Cruises

My best friend decided that she wanted to do a boat cruise for her 30th birthday.  We had a hard time finding any boats that were doing cruises on Tuesday July 3rd.  Then we found a deal for half off 2 hour Happy Hour Cruises from Kanan for $10.  We couldn't have been happier.  Event at $20, this is worth it.

The Happy Hour Cruise left Navy Pier at 6:30pm and returned about 8:30pm.  It is a large boat at the end of Navy Pier.  The inside is really lovely, the first floor is like a fancy lounge with sofas and a piano.  Another level as a dance floor and large round tables, the top deck has some outdoor seating.  They had nice stemware available (but our drinks were served in plastic cups which was reasonable for a happy hour event).  It really has everything!

There is no food for sale on the happy hour cruise, but there are plenty of drink options.  All of the drinks are $7 each, or 3 for $20.  These weren't well liquor, so I think they were reasonable priced.  (I expected to be gouged).

We had a great time!  This was a really great group event!
